Agri Lighting (Nick Young Tractor Parts Ltd) ships tractor lighting, electrical parts and workshop consumables to New Zealand from our warehouse in Lincolnshire, in the United Kingdom. This page explains delivery, import charges, tracking and returns. It works alongside our Terms and Conditions and Warranty pages.

Where we deliver from this site

  • This website sells to addresses in New Zealand only, with prices in New Zealand dollars (NZ$).
  • We cannot accept orders for delivery outside New Zealand through this site.

GST, import duty and Customs fees

Please read this before you order. Your parcel travels from the United Kingdom to New Zealand, so it goes through New Zealand Customs and biosecurity checks when it arrives.

  • Our prices are in New Zealand dollars. No UK VAT and no New Zealand GST is charged at checkout.
  • Orders are sent on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means our prices and delivery charge do not include New Zealand GST, any import duty, New Zealand Customs or biosecurity fees, or the courier’s handling or clearance fee. Where these apply, you pay them on delivery, not to us. For lower-value parcels there may be nothing to pay.
  • If charges apply, the courier will contact you before delivery to tell you how much is due and how to pay. The parcel is released once they are paid.
  • If you refuse to pay the charges, the parcel may be returned to us. Contact us first so we can help.
  • Be careful of scam messages. A genuine notice from the courier will refer to your parcel and its tracking number. If in doubt, email us your tracking number and we will check it.

Dispatch times

  • Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
  • In-stock orders placed before 3pm UK time on a working day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm UK time are dispatched the next working day.
  • Items ordered in from a supplier are marked on the product page. They usually reach us the next working day and are dispatched the day they arrive, and we email you when they leave.
  • If an order contains both stocked and ordered-in items, we may send it in more than one parcel at no extra cost.

Delivery costs

  • Delivery to New Zealand is free on orders of NZ$500 or more.
  • Below NZ$500, delivery is charged by parcel size and shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Delivery charges do not include GST, import duty, Customs or biosecurity fees, or courier clearance fees (see above).

Delivery timescales and tracking

  • Deliveries to New Zealand usually arrive 5 to 10 working days after dispatch by tracked courier. Customs and biosecurity checks can occasionally add to this.
  • Tracking details are emailed for every order once it leaves us.
  • Saturday delivery is not available as a selectable service.

Damaged, missing or incorrect items

  • Check your parcel on arrival and tell us as soon as you can if anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered. Keep the packaging and take photos; it helps us claim from the courier.
  • If we have sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we send the correct item or a replacement and we pay the return postage. If we cannot replace it, we refund in full.
  • Reporting quickly helps, but it is not a condition of your rights. Faulty goods are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and our 12-month warranty (see below).

Lost parcels

  • If tracking shows no movement, call or email us and we will open an investigation with the courier.
  • Once the courier confirms the parcel is lost, we replace it or refund you. Stocked items are replaced or refunded within one working day of confirmation; ordered-in items as soon as the replacement reaches us.

Returning an unwanted item

  • New Zealand law does not give a general right to cancel an online order because you have changed your mind. We offer our own returns policy instead: you can return any unwanted item within 30 days of delivery. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
  • Email [email protected] with your order number and the item you want to return. We will confirm the return address and reference.
  • Send the item back within 14 days of telling us, unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.
  • You pay the return postage for unwanted items. Returns go back to our warehouse in Lincolnshire, so sending a parcel from New Zealand to the UK costs more than a domestic return, and the carrier may ask you to fill in a customs declaration. Ask us if you are not sure what to put on it. We recommend a tracked service and keeping proof of posting.
  • We refund the price of the goods, and the outbound delivery charge where the whole order is returned, to the original payment method. We do this within 14 days of you telling us you want to return the item, but we can wait until we have the goods back or you have sent us proof of return, whichever comes first.
  • GST, import duty and Customs, biosecurity or clearance fees you paid on delivery were not paid to us, so we cannot refund them. Keep your proof of return in case you need it.
  • There is no restocking fee on standard stock items. Items ordered in specially for you and marked as special order at checkout are excluded from the 30-day unwanted returns policy. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 if a special order item is faulty or not as described.
  • A refund may be reduced if an item comes back used, damaged or without its packaging, to reflect any handling beyond what was needed to check it.

Faulty items

  • Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and match their description. If a fault can be fixed, we can choose to repair or replace the item or refund you. If the fault is of a substantial character, or we do not fix it within a reasonable time, you can reject the item for a refund or replacement, or keep it and claim compensation for the drop in its value. There is no fixed time limit; the guarantees last for a reasonable time, depending on the product.
  • Every product we sell also carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Details are on the Warranty page.
  • To report a fault, email [email protected] with your order number, a description and photographs. We arrange collection or send a prepaid label, and replace, repair or refund once the fault is confirmed. We pay return postage on confirmed faults.
